Hina Ningyo dolls are a ancient Japanese tradition. Girls display them during family celebrations around March 3rd, Girls’ Day. Varieties include two-doll sets with a princess and a lord, five-doll sets adding three court ladies, and even seven-doll sets with further ministers on the right and left. We carry a total of 40 different items. Making of Dolls
- Manufacture - We design, manufacture, and ship all of our products, seeing them through from start to finish. Each and every one of our products is painstakingly handcrafted. Expression is brought out from the Hina Ningyo dolls’ gypsum faces using brushwork and glass bead eyes. Their bodies are clothed with gold brocade and filled with straw.
Kabuto helmets and armor are made mainly with aluminum and resin.
To create cases, we insert glass and acrylic into wooden frames manufactured by our business partners using natural wood. Internal decorations are all attached to the case itself, allowing the case to be displayed right out of the box. For the Hina Ningyo dolls, plugging in the cord lights up the paper lantern.
On our products is a wooden tag upon which the name of each artist and company is written. You will not find identical products anywhere else.
